First up is the City Park Discovery Pod, where you can discover the wonders of the marine world and Hervey Bay’s Holidaying Whales, take part in community competitions, and explore the beautiful Hervey Bay Regional Gallery grounds. Don’t forget to make your own lantern at our workshop, so you can participate in the evening’s Parade of Lights down Main Street! Featuring stunning marine animal lanterns, this parade is sure to be a feast for the eyes.\nParade of Lights\nGet ready to light up Main Street and join in on the Parade of Lights. For everyone participating in the parade join us at the starting point under the HBRG giant whale. Leading the parade is Butchulla families with their illuminated display of marine life including Milbi (Turtle), Yulu (Dolphin), and Yuwangkan (Dugon). \nAll welcome to participate. Parade Registration here.\nAfter the parade, head on over to Funtime Amusements Seafront Spectacular for an evening of carnival rides, food stalls, and live entertainment. Whether you’re looking for thrills on the dodgem cars or just want to enjoy some delicious treats, there’s something for everyone at this family-friendly event.\nDon’t miss out on this incredible weekend of events in Hervey Bay.
