DESCRIPTION:Barge2Beach\n25th November 2023\n\nThis exciting addition to the Hundy weekend is an ocean swim with a difference.\nAs the name suggests, the swim will start on a barge, and you will swim 2km back to shore, finishing at the Hervey Bay 100 race precinct area on the beach near Enzo’s.\nThere will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female swimmers.\n$65 entry fee covers the 2km swim logistics, custom cap and athlete gift(our super collectable and fantastic coffee mug!)\nThe swim is sanctioned by Triathlon Australia. Race category will follow Triathlon Australia rules.\nCompetitors will be responsible for their own transport to the Urangan Boat Harbour on Saturday morning. Barge will leave at exactly 5:30am. Gear drop will be made available on the barge, with equipment taken back to race precinct at Scarness on the Barge.\nRace registration time from 4:15am and will be in the Urangan Boat Harbour carpark, at the end of Jetty Street, Urangan.\nFollow the Facebook page for the event to get the latest information.\n
