Hervey Bay Whale Festival – Blessing of the Fleet

The Whale Festival kicks off with the annual ‘Blessing of the Fleet’ ceremony at the Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay.

The Blessing of the Fleet is a family-friendly ‘Marina Party’ event where guests can familiarise themselves with the vessels that host a marine mecca, enjoy various fun activities for all ages, food stalls, and live music.

The festivities culminate with a float-by of the Whale Fleet and other boats, receiving blessings from a local minister to ensure safe and successful tours during the upcoming Whale Watching season.
